According to information shared by Microsoft, the Xbox One backward compatibility program has been a great success. The data indicates that more than 145 million hours have been spent by players on Xbox 360 titles since the launch of the program in November 2015.

Chatting with fans on Twitter, Phil Spencer, head of the Xbox division at Microsoft, has revealed that he would like to have all Xbox 360 games compatible with Xbox One. Backwards compatibility is a popular feature of the Xbox One owners.

Therefore, Microsoft has increased the catalog with high demand titles like Red Dead Redemption or Call of Duty: Black Ops. Now, the head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, shared on Twitter that they would like to have “all” games, and that this will have to work with distributors of third-party titles.

@XboxP3@KudoTsunoda Will Black Ops 2 ever be BackCompat? thx
